Grevillea juncifolia
Family: Proteaceae
Open shrub to 4m tall with long thin leaves and golden yellow to orange flowers.
Preferred habitat is spinifex sand plains and red sand dunes - it is common around Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park.
Aboriginal people used the nectar straight from the plant or steeped the flowers in water to make a sweet drink.
Range is scattered throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
